A: The East Hants & District Chamber of Commerce organizes a variety of events and programs aimed at supporting and connecting the local business community. We host a variety of networking events such as business after hours, caffeine connections, business breakfasts as well as workshops and information sessions. Annually we also host our Nine and Dine Golf Tournament, Trivia night, Workplace Education Celebration, and the prestigious Business Excellence Awards.

Funded by the Nova Scotia Department of Labor Skills and Immigration under its Workplace Education Initiative. Programs include but not limited to Business skills for growth and profitability, Transformational leadership, Excel, Microsoft 365, google workspace, and Dollars and sense.

A: The Chamber Perks App is a free mobile application that provides perks and discounts to local users. It is designed to help users save money while supporting local businesses. For businesses that are Chamber of Commerce members, it is a platform to create and manage perks, track views, and update their company profile through a member dashboard. Businesses also have options to purchase enhanced listings for increased visibility and promotion. The app is available on the App Store and Google Play, download the app for more information.
