The cellular coverage across East Hants has not improved over the last year and maybe has even worsened. Many residences and businesses have little to no connection - dropped calls, calls that don't connect, and text messages not sending. This not only causes economic hardship for local businesses, but it is also a matter of safety📲While the Government of NS announced the $18.6M Cellular of Nova Scotia Program and with Rogers and Build Nova Scotia partnering to install 27 new cellular towers across the province, MP Kody Blois wants to ensure the project helps to support the gap areas in rural areas. He has asked the EHCC to share his request for help to Send the Signal to the Provincial Government in the importance of the cellular projects in our communities. What can you do? BUSINESS AFTER HOURS HOSTED BY East Hants Community Learning & Community Rider ✨East Hants Community Learning Association / Community Rider is a non-profit organization offering educational services, such as GED prep classes and literacy skills trainging, to adults residence of East Hants for over 10 years. It was discovered that the biggest barrier to education is transportation, so out of this necessity, the Community Rider was born. Now, many years later, and with a fleet of seven vehicles, they are helping residents get to where they need to go!Connect with local businesses. Get caught up with others.
