How to Hire Foreign Talent Information Session

Did you know that Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) and Nova Scotia’s Department of Labour Skills and Immigration have teams who help employers understand immigration options to support their hiring needs?
Representatives from IRCC and NS LSI will be in Lantz working with the East Hants & Districts Chamber of Commerce, the Nova Scotia Works Futureworx, and the East Hants Economic and Business Development Department to provide an overview of the federal and provincial economic immigration programs and resources including:
• How to hire temporary foreign workers and the work permit process.
• Learn about hiring international students and how to retain them after they graduate.
• Connect with resources to help you find skilled workers faster.
• Permanent residence pathways available to allow workers stay in Canada long-term
