DESCRIPTION:Join us Saturday\, May 10th\, 2025 for Open East Hants Day!\nOpen East Hants Day is a unique opportunity for residents and visitors of East Hants to celebrate our local business community. Businesses that register for this event open their doors to the public and invite the community into their place of business to share their products and services. This collective “Open House” event makes it easy for people to experience everything East Hants has to offer\, so that they become ambassadors of our area by getting acquainted with the people who work and play here. \nALL EAST HANTS BUSINESSES WELCOME TO PARTICIPATE – FREE OF CHARGE \nIf you’re a local business interested in participating\, please register using the link below. There is NO COST to participate and all businesses are encouraged to take part. \nThere are 2 Pop-Up Locations for those businesses without a store-front. This year\, in order to encourage young entrepreneurs\, we welcome youth (age 18 and under) to let us know they want to participate at any pop-up location. They will be recognized with special signage and on the Open East Hants Day map. \n\nREGISTER NOW\n\n\n  \nWe want you to go out and visit all the participating businesses on May 10th! Scroll down to see a list of all those taking part.  \nBe sure to visit the Pop-Up Markets (10am-2pm) to discover home-based businesses in our very own backyards!  \nPop-Up Market Locations:\n\nEnfield: Enfield Fire Hall\nKennetcook Fire Hall\n\nCONTEST TIME\nThis year there will three prizes! Valued at $100 each\, the prize will be gift cards of the winner’s choice of participating local businesses. \nHow to enter: \n\nPrint off the PASSPORT (click button below) or collect from participating businesses (while quantities last).\nObtain 6 stamps on the clouds from 6 different participating businesses on May 10th\nReturn your passports complete with 6 signatures\, stamps\, or stickers\, your name\, and phone # to EHCC table at the Pop-Up Markets on the 10th from 10am – 2pm or at the EHCC office Monday – Thursday between 9:00 am – 4:00pm (205-8 Old Enfield Rd\, Enfield).\nPassports must be dropped off on or before Friday\, May 30th\n\n\nPRINT CONTEST PASSPORT\n\n\n  \nWinners will be announced Tuesday\, June 3rd \nCheck out our map below to see what businesses are taking part this year!
