Municipal Candidate’s Questionnaire

“Don’t try to be somebody you’re not because it doesn’t work. If you try to be this perfect person or perfect persona of what you think that somebody should be when they’re involved in public office, it’s just not going to work. Just be yourself, stay true to your core values, and really just stay abreast of the issues” – Ben Quayle

The EHCC wishes to thank the 16 candidates who completed our survey of questions from our membership.  The East Hants business community is vibrant and growing. A core role of EHCC is to advocate on behalf of our membership on issues that affect them.  This is achieved through a strong working relationship with council and staff of the municipality.  The relationship is based on mutual respect and appreciation of the challenges each role faces and a desire to improve the opportunity for businesses to succeed.  We hope that the two candidates who do not appreciate that relationship and chose not to complete the survey will educate themselves on EHCC.
