Dollars & ‘Sense’: Building Financial Success

This 40 hour programs is designed to deliver the basic knowledge of operating a small business. The program begins with what you need to know and how to organize it. Participants will be provided with hands on opportunity to complete reports and forms required by the government.

Topics to be covered:

  • The basics & definitions.
  • Concepts of bookkeeping.
  • Home office & vehicle use.
  • Budgets & cashflows.
  • Basic business taxation.
  • Pricing strategy.
  • Financial statements.
  • Reporting requirements.
  • Financial analysis.

Start date/location: Every Wednesday starting on January 20th at 8:30am – 12:30pm for 10 weeks at the EHCC office.
